Hoover Crescent Islamic Center (HC) offers wireless access to the Internet via the Meraki Wi-Fi network. This Wi-Fi service is available to anyone who brings his/her own properly configured equipment to the Hoover Crescent Wi-Fi service area. Hoover Crescent Wi-Fi (HC Wi-Fi) is a public service free of charge, subject to the following terms and conditions:

All users are expected to use HC Wi-Fi in a legal and responsible manner, consistent with the educational and informational purposes for which it is provided. Furthermore, the following terms and conditions shall be applicable:

• It is the policy of HC to reasonably protect the confidentiality of users of HC Wi-Fi. However, please be advised that permanent records reflecting each user's name and other related information will be maintained on file with BIS and may be disclosed to third parties, including but not limited to governmental officials, in BIS' discretion. By signing this form, the undersigned hereby consents to the disclosure of such information.
• Use of this service by anyone other than yourself, unless expressly authorized by BIS, shall not be permitted.
• Transmitting, posting or uploading defamatory, abusive or threatening material or language shall not be permitted.
• Violating intellectual property rights shall not be permitted.
• Accessing, transmitting, posting or uploading material that is obscene (in accordance with established constitutional and statutory dictates) or that constitutes child pornography shall not be permitted.
• Spamming, forging of headers, hacking or distribution of Internet viruses, worms, and other destructive activities or violations of privacy shall not be permitted.
• Any other activities which are intended to harm or interfere with the rights of any third party shall not be permitted.
• Users of this service, and in particular the parents or guardians of minors, should be aware that this service is filtered but will not guarantee it is 100% effective.
• HC is not responsible for insuring the privacy of information that the undersigned transfers over HC WI-FI. Virus and security protection is solely the user's responsibility. Information passing through the HC Wi-Fi network is not secured and could be monitored, captured, or altered by others.
• HC assumes no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of any user's equipment, software, data files or other personal property brought into or used on the HC Wi-Fi network.
• There is no guarantee that each user will have continuous, uninterrupted wireless access (or any access at all) via the HC Wi-Fi network at any specific time, location or with any specific equipment. Service disruptions may occur, and some equipment may not be compatible. Wireless access is provided as a public service free of charge on an "as is" basis with no guarantee and no warranty, express or implied.
• In its sole discretion, HC may terminate, withdraw or suspend HC WI-FI at anytime without prior notice, whether due to use that is inconsistent with the terms herein or for any other reason.
